Patient Access Representative

Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-orientatedPatient Account Representative. An individual who can promote customer satisfaction by providing courteous, confidential service through competent, professional practices and prompt response as outlined in the patient-focused care affirmation. Can perform receptionist duties and maintain customer service as the 1 priority. Registers patients in a confidential, accurate and timely manner at each appropriate point of entry. Communicates effectively with the patient to assist with access to care by: answering the telephone and other incoming communications in a timely and customer-service oriented manner; replying to inquiries, the patients needs for information, and other parties clearly and in a timely manner; and, if information is not readily available, follow up with inquiries to responsible party. Performs other duties as assigned at department and organizational level. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. An annual influenza vaccination is required.
