Description

Due to the business needs of the department, bilingual English/ Spanish is required. This is a casual position with an anticipated end date of November 30, 2026.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for securing and providing appropriate medical business information to/from patient families and funding sources. Interprets, identifies, communicates, and documents this information by way of: registration, scheduling and/or obtaining authorizations for patient services, in a team environment. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma, GED, or Foreign equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree

1 year of experience

1 year of Healthcare experience

Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems

Experience with payment collection efforts

Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages that meet business needs of the department

The current salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.27
