Summary of Position:
Join an established hospital-based pathology team supported by six board-certified clinical and anatomical pathologists. This opportunity offers a Pathologists Assistant the chance to contribute to a collaborative pathology department while supporting a diverse surgical pathology workload and autopsy services.

Qualifications:
Masters degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists Assistant program.
ASCP PA certification or eligibility, with certification obtained within six months.
Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or reference laboratory preferred.
Familiarity with Epic Beaker LIS and voice dictation systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed gross dissection and description of a wide range of surgical specimens.
Assist in the performance and documentation of autopsies.
Photograph gross specimens and maintain image records for clinical and teaching purposes.
Ensure specimen integrity and accurate labeling throughout the process.
Collaborate with pathology residents, medical students, and histotechnologists.
Participate in departmental QA/QC activities to maintain compliance with CAP standards.
