What You'll Do- Assist in grossing and processing benign tissue samples, colon resections, and native livers
- Procure tissue specimens for research and clinical purposes
- Select tissue from POCs for karyotyping and biopsy analysis
- Support surgical specimen processing from our hospital OR, primarily benign lesions (~95%)
- Handle some cancer cases and biopsy procedures based on workload and staffing needs
- Collaborate with pathology team to ensure accurate processing and documentation
What You Need- Valid PA (ASCP) certification
- Minimum 1 year of pathology laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a laboratory setting with various tissue specimens
