Job Title: Pathologists Assistant
Job Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
Education and Experience Requirements: Certification as a Pathologists' Assistant from the American Society for Clinical Pathology is required.

Role Overview and Responsibilities: 

• Perform anatomic pathology services under the supervision and guidance of a pathologist.
• Enhance laboratory efficiency by conducting routine gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens.
• Assist in autopsies and prepare materials for case conferences.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Possess a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution and have completed a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program within the past five years.
• Alternatively, hold a baccalaureate degree with 20 semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in biology and have three years of full-time experience as a Pathologists' Assistant within the last decade, under the supervision of a pathologist certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology.
• Required Certification: Pathologists' Assistant (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
