The Gage, a celebrated Chicago restaurant featuring innovative cuisine and curated beverages with stunning Millennium Park views, is seeking a talented Pastry Sous Chef to support and lead our pastry program. What You'll Do:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent 4-year degree preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in kitchen or food preparation environment required.
At least 1 year sous chef or kitchen management experience preferred.
ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as converse comfortably with guests.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000 per year, commensurate based on experience.

The company contributes $350 per month toward employee-only medical coverage and pays 100% of employee-only premiums for the Dental Low Plan and Vision Plan.
401k Program with Match: Company matches $1 for $1 up to $1,000 per calendar year.
