Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $20.00 -$23.00 per hour

We are looking for highly motivated team players with prior leadership and baking experience to join our team as Pastry Lead. This position involves motivating and supervising our team in preparation, production and baking of pastry items while ensuring sanitation and safety in all work areas. This position is responsible for writing orders, inventory, and verification processes. Must be able to lift 30-50lbs, stand for the duration of the shift, handle physical repetitive motions, and work in hot and cold environments, and as a Lead this position must have flexible availability.

Available shift: 

• PM Shift 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm, non-exempt; Split Days Off (Friday and another Day) 
• Full-Time, 40 hours a week 

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Motivating and supervising our team in preparation, production and baking of pastry items
• Oversee the team by helping to keep team members on track with their daily work and assist when needed
• Creation of prep sheets, schedules, inventory, and verification processes
• Safely handle physical tasks, including lifting 30-50 lbs. and maintaining stamina throughout the shift while working in warm or refrigerated environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to use a computer to create and process prep sheets, complete recaps, and send emails.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education or equivalent, required
• Previous baking experience, required
• Prior experience leading a team, preferred
• Must have Tuberculosis Clearance required or Willing to take test upon offer.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
• Applicant should be able to reliably commute to work on time.
