Parts Washer / Production Support AssociateLocation: Richmond, VAPay: Starting at $16/hourSchedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMEmployment Type: TemporaryNow Hiring Parts Washers!Qualified Staffing is hiring Parts Washers for a growing manufacturing facility in Richmond, VA. This position supports production by preparing fabricated metal components for painting and finishing processes.What You'll Do
  • Clean and prepare metal components prior to painting and finishing operations
  • Remove dirt, grease, debris, and contaminants using approved cleaning methods
  • Sand, grind, scrape, and smooth surfaces for proper paint adhesion
  • Apply masking materials and protective coverings to components as required
  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the production area
  • Transport parts between workstations, paint booths, drying areas, and assembly departments
  • Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and material handling equipment as authorized
  • Clean and maintain paint preparation equipment and workstations
  • Assist with minor surface repairs prior to painting
  • Utilize orbital sanders, grinders, RF scanners, and other production equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support production schedules and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred
  • Experience using sanders, grinders, hand tools, or similar equipment preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes
