Parts Warehouse Asscociate

The Parts Warehouse Associate is responsible for customer service and retail sales at an auto parts store. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product error & safety mishaps
• Receive and stock products in appropriate zones and locations
• Pull orders by identifying part numbers that are numeric & alpha-numeric
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Must be able to empty trash daily and take it to the dumpster on-premises
• Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
• Ability to understand and carry-out directions from supervisor
• Use handheld Scanner & relevant software to maintain accurate shipments
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while meeting time-sensitive deadlines
• Positive and professional attitude
• Work independently with little to no supervision

Qualifications

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

• Minimum of 1 year in parts/warehouse department

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills

• Positive, friendly attitude 

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with auto parts (preferred)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
