Role: Parts Specialist
Location: Milford, OH 45150 - 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months

Must Have Skills:

• 5 12 years of experience as a Parts Specialist

• Nuclear / Defense industry experience

• Export Control experience

• PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)

• BOM Management

• Document Control & Management

• Standard Part Creation & Lifecycle Maintenance

• Engineering Change Requests / Change Management

• BOM "Where-Used" Analysis

• Part families, attributes, lifecycle status, alternates & supersessions

• ITAR experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new parts and maintain existing BOM structures based on approved engineering changes.

• Initiate and manage change requests for parts and standard components.

• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve PLM promotion and release issues.

• Perform BOM where-used analysis and maintain part lifecycle data.

• Update part attributes, interchangeability, supersessions, alternates, usage rules and reference documents.

• Restore retired child parts to active status based on approved Engineering and configuration management requirements.

• Identify and create alternate parts when required.
