Hendrick Automotive Group - the nation's largest privately owned dealer group and a back-to-back winner of Automotive News' Best Dealerships to Work For - is hiring a Parts Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our Chrysler dealership. This is a full-time opportunity built for candidates ready to establish themselves in the automotive parts industry and grow within one of the most respected organizations in the country.

This role is your entry point into the Parts Department - a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where your contributions directly support the service team and keep the dealership running smoothly.

$18.50 per hour | Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Monday through Friday, shifts between 6:00 AM-5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays. Consistent schedule with no Sundays.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and process incoming shipments - verify packing slips against actual shipments for accuracy.
  • Stock parts and accessories in correct bin locations throughout the Parts Department.
  • Identify and report all overages and shortages to management.
  • Notify appropriate personnel upon receipt of special orders.
  • Load and unload trucks; may operate a forklift to move materials.
  • Perform inventory test counts as directed by management.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Maintain CSI scores at or above company standards.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow all safety protocols, Safeguards rules, and company policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Up to 3 years of warehouse, parts, or dealership experience preferred.
  • Dealership experience a plus - familiarity with parts operations is an advantage.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills for timekeeping and inventory systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts including rotating Saturdays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is based primarily in the Parts Department and involves frequent movement, shelving of parts, and physical activity throughout the shift. Work may extend to dealership facilities and the outdoor lot. Regular interaction with parts team members, service advisors, and management.
