Parts Room Helper

The Stockroom Helper assists with the daily operations of the parts room by maintaining organization, helping manage inventory, and ensuring parts and supplies are stored properly and readily available when needed. This position includes light inventory counting, stocking shelves, and supporting the parts department with general tasks.

This position includes light inventory counting, stocking shelves, and supporting the parts department with general tasks.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and putting away incoming parts and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly parts room.
• Perform light inventory counting and assist with routine cycle counts.
• Compare physical part quantities with inventory records and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Label, sort, and organize parts on shelves and in designated storage areas.
• Help locate and retrieve parts for technicians and other team members.
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Notify the supervisor of low stock, damaged items, or missing parts.
• Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and tracking parts and supplies.
• Perform other general stockroom duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work with attention to detail.
• Basic counting and organizational skills.
• Ability to keep accurate counts and identify inventory discrepancies.
• Basic computer skills are helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move parts and supplies within company safety guidelines.
• Ability to work safely in a stockroom or parts room environment.
