About The Position The Parts Manager is a key member of the Hendrickson Fire team, responsible for ensuring our technicians have the right parts at the right time while controlling inventory costs and supporting the profitability and efficiency of our Service and Fleet operations. The Parts Manager isn't simply responsible for ordering parts. The position is responsible for making sure Hendrickson has the resources necessary to keep its equipment, customers, and operations moving. This position pays 80-100k/year. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory, organization, and distribution of parts and materials needed to support Hendrickson's service, fleet, towing, and recovery operations. This position manages inventory levels, vendor relationships, purchasing, pricing, and parts availability while maintaining accurate records and controlling department costs. The Parts Manager works closely with Service Managers, Technicians, Operations, and Executive Management to ensure parts are available when needed and that repairs and customer commitments are completed efficiently. The position is also responsible for leading and developing parts personnel, maintaining a safe and organized parts department, establishing effective inventory controls, and identifying opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory accuracy, and overall department profitability.About You 3+ years of experience in parts management, automotive/heavy-duty parts, fleet, towing, truck repair, or Experience with heavy-duty trucks, emergency vehicles, towing equipment, or fleet maintenance.Experience managing a parts department in a dealership, fleet, towing, repair, or emergency-services environment.Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts.Experience with inventory management or parts-management software.Experience working with purchase orders, work orders, warranty claims, and core returns.CDL or other relevant industry certifications are a plus.About Us Why Work for Hendrickson Fire?
