Position Overview

Linder Industrial Machinery is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the parts department at their Chester, VA location. This role is responsible for managing parts inventory, leading department staff, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure timely parts availability for heavy equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, schedule, and lead parts department staff to meet operational goals

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive parts sales and satisfaction

• Oversee inventory control including ordering, stocking, and managing parts levels

• Analyze KPIs and department performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and lead safety training initiatives

• Conduct annual employee performance evaluations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• 3–5 years of experience in parts management or a related role

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with parts management systems

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Background in heavy equipment or industrial machinery parts preferred
