    Position: Parts Manager
    Location: Allentown, PA
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
    Reports To: Parts Director, Parts Department

    We are looking for a hands-on Parts Manager to lead our Parts team and help keep daily operations running efficiently. This role combines team leadership, inventory management, parts sales, and customer service. The ideal candidate is willing to jump in and help the team, including operating a forklift when needed.

    The Parts Manager will work closely with Service, customers, vendors, and company management to ensure the right parts are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory and excellent service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead daily Parts operations and support team members as needed.
    • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts.
    • Prepare parts estimates and process customer orders.
    • Manage inventory, cycle counts, stock orders, and inventory accuracy.
    • Receive, inspect, label, package, and organize incoming parts.
    • Pull parts for work orders and prepare orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment.
    • Source hard-to-find parts and place emergency orders when necessary.
    • Process warranty returns and maintain required paperwork.
    • Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and other departments.
    • Monitor inventory, dead stock, and other Parts Department reports.
    • Stay current on new products, product updates, and vendor information.
    • Pick up and deliver parts locally as needed.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and customer service.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department.
    • Follow all company, OSHA, and safety requirements.
    • Operate a forklift and assist with hands-on tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Parts, inventory, or management experience preferred.

    • Strong inventory control and organizational skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, and spreadsheets.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment.
    • Forklift experience is a plus.
