Job Overview
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily on-site operations at a remote warehouse in Jackson, GA, ensuring efficient coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers across transportation and warehousing functions. This role acts as a critical liaison between the 3PL partner and the corporate parts operations team based in Newnan, GA, maintaining alignment and operational efficiency.
Duties
Oversee/prepare domestic and international shipment documentation in accordance with Corporate requirements including shipments to forwarders and direct to customers.
Ensure freight charges are correctly added to the customer invoice.
Ensure carrier selection is in accordance with company guidelines and allows for timely delivery at the best price.
File claims with carriers for over, short and damage as required.
Coordinate Hot Shot deliveries as requested by dealers.
Insure Company packaging/labeling quality standards are met.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
5+ years warehouse shipping experience with international experience.
