Import - Export Logistics Coordinator / Jackson, GA 1st Shift / $20.00/hour

Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily on-site operations at a remote warehouse in Jackson, GA, ensuring efficient coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers across transportation and warehousing functions. This role acts as a critical liaison between the 3PL partner and the corporate parts operations team based in Newnan, GA, maintaining alignment and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Oversee/prepare domestic and international shipment documentation in accordance with Corporate requirements including shipments to forwarders and direct to customers.

  • Ensure freight charges are correctly added to the customer invoice.

  • Ensure carrier selection is in accordance with company guidelines and allows for timely delivery at the best price.

  • File claims with carriers for over, short and damage as required.

  • Coordinate Hot Shot deliveries as requested by dealers.

  • Insure Company packaging/labeling quality standards are met.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years warehouse shipping experience with international experience.
