JOB SUMMARY:

Work your internship in our parts department where you will learn and work at the same time on a winning team, maintaining heavy equipment and engine parts inventory for the needs of technicians and customers. We will work around your school requirements, typically following school day schedules and following required exposure to industry business.

  • Pulling and packaging parts orders in the parts warehouse and inspecting pulled orders for accuracy.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the parts warehouse clean, safe, and organized,
  • Deliver (on foot) parts orders to Service Technicians in the shop.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a related high-school level career-based educational program, such as Power Equipment Technology, Industrial Diesel Mechanics, Ag Equipment Mechanics, or other industrial-related programs.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Must have a strong capacity for learning and be career oriented.
  • Ability to work individually or with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
