Summary:

The Parts Order Entry Clerk performs clerical and physical duties in conjunction with the Metal Forming Supermarket team.

Essential Functions:

• Process appropriate paperwork
• Data collection and organization
• Picking and transporting sheet metal parts
• Helping Production meet material requirements through cart deliveries
• Learning and following standardized work and processes

Qualifications/Skills:

• Prior administrative experience preferred
• Data entry skills
• Strong computer skills are required
• Excellent written and oral communication; including spelling and grammar
• Strong background with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other associated software
• Strong organizational skills (physical and digital)
• Excellent work ethic and character
• Adaptable and improvement oriented

Safety/Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, stooping and standing.
• Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend the time period.)
• Good visual and spatial perception.
• Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
