Parts Driver
Mullinax Ford is looking for a personable, hard-working team member who is self-motivated and effectively prioritizes tasks to join our multi-store enterprise. Prior dealership experience preferred but not required.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to parts
- Deliver & pick up parts as requested by parts department personnel
- Help receive part stock
- Put away stock in parts warehouse
- Keep truck clean and neat
- Report any malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately
- Assist in keeping parts department & warehouse clean
- Follow all Company procedures and standards
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements for this job:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have professional appearance and work ethic
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
- Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
- Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
