Parts Delivery Driver - CDJR Ft. Smith

Job Summary

Fort Smith CDJR is seeking a reliable and professional Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to customers and service departments in a timely and safe manner, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the quality and integrity of parts during transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport parts to customers, dealerships, and service centers.
• Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of parts being delivered.
• Maintain communication with the parts department and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist with inventory management and organization of parts as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Fort Smith CDJR professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in automotive parts or related industry.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) safely.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Fort Smith and surrounding areas preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position requires driving in various weather conditions and may involve some physical activity including lifting and carrying parts. The Parts Delivery Driver will primarily work out of the Fort Smith CDJR location but will spend significant time on the road.
