Parts Delivery Driver Job Description:
The Huffines Parts Delivery Driver operates company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts to and from various locations.
Parts Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Operates company vehicle within the legal speed limits and obeys all traffic laws at all times
- Ensures safe and on-time delivery of parts to the dealership while following all company procedures and standards
- Follows company safety policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks
- Completes any reports or logs
- Other duties as assigned
Parts Delivery Driver Requirements:
- Unrestricted driver''s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle inspections and maintenance (wipers, tires, fluids, etc.)
- Fluent English speaking and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional appearance and behavior required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently on a daily basis
- Must be able to drive with a trailer
