    What You’ll Do

    As a Parts Counter Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting dealership operations by assisting customers, technicians, and service advisors with their parts needs while ensuring accuracy and exceptional service.

    Customer & Parts Support

    • Assist retail and internal customers with parts inquiries and orders 

    • Provide accurate parts pricing, availability, and order updates 

    • Communicate professionally with customers, service advisors, and technicians 

    • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to parts requests efficiently 

    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire parts process 

    Inventory & Order Management

    • Read and interpret parts catalogs to identify correct parts and components 

    • Pull and fill parts orders accurately from inventory 

    • Maintain organized inventory and assist with weekly bin checks 

    • Notify management of low inventory or out-of-stock items requiring immediate attention 

    • Locate and source parts from outside vendors when necessary 

    • Review body shop estimates to ensure parts and pricing accuracy 

    Administrative Responsibilities

    • Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed on repair orders 

    • Process retail payments and credit authorizations 

    • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records 

    • Support additional parts department operations as needed 

     

    What You Bring

    • Previous automotive parts experience preferred 

    • Strong communication and customer service skills 

    • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset 

    • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment 

    • Attention to detail and accuracy when handling parts and inventory 

    • Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive industry 

    • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities 

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 

    • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents 

    • Basic math and calculation skills including discounts, percentages, and pricing
