ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Parts Counter, you are responsible for performing all parts room operations.

Typical schedule is Monday- Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job) An asterisk (*) indicates essential job functions that cannot be modified in order to fulfill the job requirements)

• Obey all safety rules and work in a safe manner.
• Perform all parts room operations for all areas.
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work with customers, vendors and other employees in a friendly and cooperative manner.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Be receptive to ongoing education about products and how they work.
• Must be able to diagnose problem areas and recommend changes to make the parts room more efficient.
• Perform proper housekeeping throughout the work shift.
• Data entry.
• Monitoring inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

• High School diploma or General Education Degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Some knowledge of accounting is required.
• Strong computer skills are required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITITES (types and extent of knowledge, skills or abilities an incumbent must possess to complete the job responsibilities satisfactorily)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work independently and under time constraints.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Critical thinking.
