Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with parts purchases, answering phones, providing pricing and product information, and supporting the service department with parts needs. Forklift training may be provided.
Responsibilities
- Sell parts to retail customers, service technicians, and phone customers.
- Assist customers in selecting the correct parts in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide pricing, availability, and product information.
- Inform customers of related parts, accessories, promotions, and special offers.
- Process over-the-counter, shop, and telephone parts orders accurately.
- Maintain product knowledge and assist with inventory organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided if needed).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and parts department environment.
