    Description

    Job Description:

    The candidate will support the office by taking customer orders via the phone, fax and email.  The individual will be responsible for logging calls, parts orders, shipping and receiving, inventory control and other Parts Department functions as assigned.  Will process Return Apparatus Tags (RAT) involving warranty claims and verify Warranty and Maintenance credits.  Assist with replenishment of truck inventories and handle parts transfers to other Hobart Branches and Agencies.  Handling over the counter parts sales to walk in customers.  The incumbent must be able to multitask, be able to follow standard procedures, and have the necessary skills to interact and communicate on a professional basis with customers as well as all levels of the Hobart team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.

    • 3+ years experience in shipping and receiving which includes any of the following: ordering, parts sales, inventory control, clerical or dispatch.

    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and telephone skills.

    • PC proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Must be an organized, detail oriented individual, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

    • General knowledge of service parts and service industry.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of GPS software.

    • Able to read and understand maps: local and outlying geography.

    Compensation Information:

    The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The range for this position is below: 22.30 - 30.20 USD Hourly
