Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Parts Cleaner to join a manufacturing team in Pryor. This position is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and preparing metal parts and components for assembly, fabrication, painting, and shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred but not required
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to safely use hand tools and cleaning equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clean metal parts, components, and assemblies using approved methods and equipment
Remove grease, oil, rust, metal shavings, and other contaminants from parts
Inspect parts for cleanliness and report defects or damage to supervisors
Prepare materials for assembly, fabrication, painting, or shipment
Operate parts washers, pressure washers, and other cleaning equipment safely
Move and transport materials using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment
Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
Assist production and assembly teams as directed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
Participate in housekeeping and continuous improvement efforts
Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous industrial manufacturing or warehouse experience
Experience operating parts washers or industrial cleaning equipment
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with metal fabrication environments
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability to work around noise, dust, oils, grease, cleaning chemicals, and industrial equipment
Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots
Work Environment
