Parts Assistant

Huron Automotive is growing, and we're looking for a Parts Assistant to join our team!
If you're organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced automotive environment, this could be a great opportunity for you. The Parts Assistant plays an important role in keeping our technicians and service team supplied with the right parts at the right time.
What You'll Do
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing automotive parts and supplies
- Check incoming parts for accuracy, damage, and proper quantities
- Match parts to repair orders and ensure technicians receive what they need
- Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory
- Pick up and deliver parts from local vendors as needed
- Return incorrect or unused parts to vendors
- Communicate with parts suppliers and vendors
- Assist service advisors and technicians with parts-related questions
- Keep the parts area clean, organized, and efficient
- Help track parts, invoices, and deliveries
- Perform other administrative and operational tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Automotive or parts experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Position Details
Compensation: $20–$22/hour based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
