Parts /Service Coordinator - Industrial Supply, Equipment & Repair

**The Coordinator position can be part- or full-time hours depending on the candidate’s related experience
Our Client, an industrial cleaning supply, equipment, and repair company, is seeking an organized, customer focused, hands-on Parts and Service Coordinator to join their team.
The Parts and Service Coordinator would be responsible for placing orders, receiving parts from purchase orders, pulling parts for service technicians, monitoring inventory, and electronically document service orders.
The qualified candidate will have daily operational computer experience.
For this role to be full-time opportunity the qualified candidate must be able to multi-task between administrative and warehouse duties. Mechanically inclined would be an asset to the team to assist with small equipment repair in the service area as needed.
Qualifications:
• Previous administrative experience working directly with service scheduling, customer relations, inventory control, and ordering parts and supplies for a service department is highly preferred
• Experience with receiving, stocking, and verifying of parts, tools, and equipment
• Sound knowledge and understanding of inventory monitoring principles
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, email, and inventory tracking systems
• Mechanically inclined / technical experience with basic plumbing and electrical skills is a plus
• Customer focused with the ability to build partnerships and relationships with service providers and clients
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Valid Driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record per company’s insurance standards
• Pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Test is required
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for inventory control, ordering, pulling, receiving, and stocking parts in the warehouse
• Coordinate and schedule service calls with the company’s technicians/sales representatives/customers; Scheduling may be two weeks out and updated daily if emergency calls come in
• Call customer with repair quote and upon completion of machine to schedule pickup or delivery
• Receive parts from UPS/FedEx, or other vendors throughout the day. Tag and place on shelf for stock or on tech service shelves. Order non-stock items and ensure inventory of frequently used parts
• Enter and edit service diagnosis and repair orders in computer system.
• Receive and pull parts ensure quality control
• Organize the tool crip and track inventory accurately
• Follow-up with clients before and after service / delivery
• Oversee the shipment and replacement procedures
Schedule and Benefit Overview:
• Hourly wage based on experience
• Typically schedule 7:00am -3:00 pm / 4:00pm – may vary
• This position may be part- or full-time depending on the candidate’s related experience
