Our reputation is built on exceptional customer service, quality products, and a commitment to our customers and community.As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Consultant to join our team.Job OverviewAs a Parts Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, accessories, and maintenance items. You'll assist customers in identifying the correct parts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support the service department by ensuring technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs efficiently.When service customers arrive, you'll also be responsible for initiating service work orders and gathering the necessary information before handing the repair process off to the Service Department.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessoriesResearch parts using manufacturer catalogs and electronic lookup systemsProcess retail, phone, and online parts inquiriesReceive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventoryAssist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory recordsOrder parts from vendors and monitor backordersWork closely with service technicians to ensure parts availabilityKeep the parts showroom and warehouse clean, organized, and well-stockedStart service work orders by gathering customer and equipment information and documenting concerns accuratelyProvide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via emailMaintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsPrevious experience in a parts department, retail sales, automotive, powersports, marine, agricultural, or outdoor power equipment industry preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple product linesExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesComfortable using computers and parts lookup softwareAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 poundsHigh school diploma or equivalentLightspeed EVO experience is a plusBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay401(k)Health, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee discountsPaid training and opportunities for advancementA family-oriented, team-focused work environmentOpportunity to work with industry-leading outdoor power equipment brands
