For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the National Park Service (NPS). These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.

PLEASE NOTE: An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.

Duration

This position is budgeted for up to 1300 total hours.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in no particular degree required

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with partner organizations, community stakeholders, and diverse audiences. Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, including experience coordinating meetings, events, or collaborative projects. Ability to work independently and maintain productive professional relationships in a public-facing environment.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
Duties:

Serves as a Partnership Coordinator at Pullman National Historical Park, supporting the park?s partnership and community engagement efforts through coordination of joint initiatives, programs, and communications with partner organizations and stakeholders. Assists with relationship management, scheduling, and collaborative activities involving the park, Friends of Pullman National Historical Park, and Pullman State Historic Site.

  • Coordinates partnership activities and communications between the park and partner organizations including scheduling meetings, supporting collaborative projects and events, maintaining regular communication, and assisting with shared initiatives involving park stakeholders and community partners.   25%
  • Supports relationship management and collaborative engagement efforts with key partner organizations, community groups, and stakeholders, helping maintain productive working relationships that advance shared goals and public programming opportunities.   25%
  • Assists with planning and coordination of public programs, special events, and partnership initiatives including logistics, scheduling, outreach coordination, and operational support for joint activities involving the park and its partners.   25%
  • Provides administrative and organizational support for partnership activities including tracking projects, maintaining calendars and records, preparing correspondence and meeting materials, and supporting internal coordination efforts.   20%
  • Collaborates with park staff to support interpretive and visitor engagement activities as needed to support park operations and partnership-related initiatives.   5%

Position primarily involves office and administrative work with occasional standing, walking, and participation in meetings, tours, and public events both indoors and outdoors.
