About the Opportunity

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading AI technology company to hire an experienced Partner Content & Communications Manager to support its growing global partner ecosystem.

This role sits within the Partner Programs team and will own the day-to-day execution of partner content strategy, governance, and communications for a network of approximately 2,000 services partners.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of B2B partner ecosystem experience, strong writing and editing skills, content operations expertise, and cross-functional program management capabilities. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role requiring someone who can independently drive content initiatives, manage stakeholders, and ensure partners receive clear, consistent, and timely information.

Candidates local to San Francisco who can work onsite 3–4 days per week are preferred; however, remote candidates with strong, directly relevant experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Content Governance & Operations

  • Lead a monthly cross-functional content governance council with Partner Programs, Partner Marketing, and Partner Enablement teams.
  • Develop meeting agendas, facilitate discussions, document decisions, and drive follow-through on action items.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of partner-facing content, including ownership, review schedules, and content lifecycle tracking.
  • Identify outdated, duplicate, or inconsistent materials and coordinate necessary updates.
  • Track content engagement metrics, including partner portal views and resource utilization, to evaluate effectiveness.

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop and maintain partner-facing content, including program guides, FAQs, one-pagers, enablement resources, and partner portal materials.
  • Translate complex technical or program information into clear, actionable communications for services and consulting partners.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish key messaging, validate accuracy, and determine the appropriate level of detail.
  • Coordinate content through internal stakeholder, legal, brand, and marketing approvals.
  • Manage content requests, prioritize deliverables, and maintain a structured content backlog.

Partner Communications & Launch Support

  • Plan and execute partner-facing communications related to product launches, program updates, and enablement initiatives.
  • Own recurring email communication cycles and coordinate messaging across internal teams.
  • Manage communication calendars, publication timelines, and reusable launch processes.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across email, partner portals, and community channels.

Partner Community Support

  • Support the pilot of an invite-only Slack community for partner practitioners and services leaders.
  • Assist with community onboarding, moderation, and routing questions to appropriate internal teams.
  • Track community engagement and effectiveness, including participation, response times, and support deflection.
  • Help develop community guidelines and scalable moderation practices.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Build repeatable workflows for content intake, governance, approvals, and partner communications.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness and reduce recurring partner support inquiries.
  • Document processes and establish a sustainable operating playbook.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B partner content management, content operations, partner communications, channel programs, or partner enablement.
  • Experience supporting a technology partner ecosystem, ideally involving systems integrators, consulting firms, or enterprise technology partners.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills, with the ability to turn subject matter expertise into polished, audience-appropriate materials.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional content governance, editorial calendars, or approval processes.
  • Experience managing partner-facing communications across email, portals, or similar digital channels.
  • Ability to independently lead meetings, drive accountability, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing content inventories, engagement metrics, and project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background with a large enterprise technology, SaaS, cloud, or AI company, or with a systems integrator or consulting organization.
  • Familiarity with services partner programs and partner portal ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting B2B communities, particularly Slack-based communities.
  • Experience tracking content performance and using engagement data to prioritize improvements.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in emerging enterprise AI technologies.
