As the Partial Care Supervisor, you will work within our adult partial care located in Princeton, Mercer County NJ.

From young adults in transition, to seniors in need of specialized care, partial care programs provide adults living with a mental illness with the support needed to prevent psychiatric hospitalization and improve functioning in the community. Utilizing principles of wellness and recovery and peer support systems, we work with individuals to create a personalized wellness and recovery plan, develop positive relationships and improve overall quality of life.

Located in Princeton, Mercer County NJ

Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm; 30 minute unpaid lunch

Salary: $57,000/year

Competencies:

The applicant must demonstrate a knowledge of wellness and recovery principals, awareness of the impact and limitations of mental health illness and social functioning. In addition, the applicant must have the ability to convey trust and gain respect from the population served. He/she must also possess superb written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Program Coordinator, will provide oversight and supervision of direct care staff, support with counselor duties and assist the Program Supervisor in the daily operations of the Partial Care program. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for, but not limited to performing the following functions:

  • Supervises Partial Care staff and oversees all program services provided;
  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision to Partial Care staff including assignment of caseloads; Complete and review Partial Care documentation, including treatment plans and comprehensive needs assessments;
  • Coordinate group coverage and schedule, make revisions as necessary based upon Partial Care community needs/interest and group observations;
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate the orientation and training of new staff and interns;
  • Provide crisis management services to clients as needed;
  • Conduct daily huddles with the treatment team;
  • Conducting and monitor regular completion of depression and suicide screenings;
  • Coordinates with the Transportation Supervisor and administrative team to bill for client transportation services;
  • Completes intake/admission for Partial Care clients, including relevant documentation;
  • Provide group coverage, as needed, to ensure program remaining in ratio per licensing requirements;
  • Continuous quality improvement and performance management reporting;
  • Coordinate resources available through community agencies, facilities and organizations in order to support and implement the groups and activities that constitute the daily Partial Care program;
  • Provide Partial Care Counselors with community resource information;
  • Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary and leadership team;
  • Other relevant management duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in social work, psychology or a related area plus
  • One (1) year of experience in behavioral healthcare;
  • LSW or related license to practice in New Jersey a plus; OR
  • Bachelors degree in social work, psychology or a related area plus three (3) years direct service experience in a behavioral health setting; experience with a mental health partial hospital or partial care program is a plus
  • Valid Drivers License required.

Programs funded through SAMHSA must follow federal guidelines for a drug free workplace.
