Position Details

The Athletic Department at The University of Tampa has an opening for a Part-time Women's Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach. This position will assist the head coach with organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive women’s beach volleyball program.

Responsibilities

• 1. Practice preparation and coaching
• 2. Coordinating team and recruiting travel and logistics
• 3. Assist with operating budget expenditures
• 4. Assist with academic development of student athletes
• 5. Assist with scheduling practices and contests
• 6. Assist with fundraising activities
• 7. Other duties as assigned by the head coach

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation
• 3. Knowledge of all aspects of coaching
• 4. Ability to work nights and weekends
• 5. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office
• 6. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices
