Position Overview
The Visitor Relations Coordinator provides guest services for the Museum and Galleries and Cultural Affairs offices in the Freedom Tower, schedules and coordinates staff and volunteers, monitors building access, collects visitor demographics, handles event ticketing and retail operations for the museum Pop Up Shop.

Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution in related Art field and three (3) years of museum, customer service or related experience
All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of general Museum environment
Possess excellent organization and communication (both oral and written) skills
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to use sound judgment when dealing with the public including crowd management and incident resolution
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Possess time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in general platforms of social media; Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Instagram
Highly motivated and detailed orientated
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening, weekend and holiday assignments
Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
