About the Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established professional services firm in Austin seeking a Temporary Accounting Assistant to support their team during a leave of absence. Key Responsibilities - Enter and process payments accurately - Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Assist with billing updates and edits - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Work closely with the accounting team under supervision - Ask clarifying questions and quickly adapt to internal processes
Qualifications - 2 5 years of accounting support experience - Hands-on experience with AP, AR, and billing - Familiarity with LMS SurePoint, LMS+, LMS 5, or Rippe Kingston software strongly preferred - Understanding of basic accounting principles - High attention to detail and accuracy - Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions - Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently
