The Office of Student Life is focused on building a strong foundation to ensure every students Indiana University experience is positive, safe, healthy, and meaningful. The Office of Student Life staff and multiple departments aim to help students navigate their time at IU, providing the tools they need to be successful in school and after graduation. Established in 1973, La Casa/Latino Cultural Center serves as an important link and advocate between the university and the Latine community, working closely with other campus units, the Bloomington community, and state and national groups. Building on a strong campus community, La Casa provides programming, support, and opportunities to foster a sense of belonging and pride for Latine students, while assisting in their academic, leadership, professional, and social development.
Job Summary
The Part-Time Student Office Assistant position provides office service coverage as well as administrative and programming assistance. Depending on the qualifications and interests of the applicant, he/she may also have additional project assignments.

Working Conditions / Demands
The person in this role must be able to navigate assigned buildings for tours and crisis response. The person in this role must be able to move up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
