WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PART-TIME SKILLS COACH - DSP

We're searching for someone who is compassionate, dependable, adaptable, and committed to helping others achieve greater independence. Personal or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.

Minimum qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location
• Ability to work independently and provide dependable support during assigned shifts
• Strong communication and customer service skills

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR SKILLS COACH - DSP

As a Part-Time Skills Coach - DSP, you'll provide hands-on workplace support to help a client successfully complete assigned responsibilities and build greater confidence and independence.

During each shift, you'll assist the client with loading merchandise onto a cart, placing products on shelves, front-facing and organizing merchandise, and providing customer service. You'll offer clear direction, encouragement, and practical support while helping the client complete tasks safely and successfully.

You'll also communicate with the AchieveAbilities team as needed, recognize progress, and help identify solutions when challenges arise. Every shift offers an opportunity to support meaningful employment and help someone strengthen valuable workplace skills.
