We are looking for a people-first leader who understands that a perfectly frosted cupcake tastes even better when it’s served with a genuine smile. You’ll spend your day nurturing talent, fostering a warm environment, and ensuring every person who walks through our doors—staff or guest—feels valued.

  • Work Alongside Your Team: You aren’t a "desk manager." You lead from the heart of the shop, working side-by-side with your associates to support them during the rush.

Creating Guest Connections

  • Custom Order Specialist: You’ll act as a trusted advisor for guests’ most important celebrations, using your communication skills to turn their cake dreams into reality through detailed, careful documentation.

 

Thoughtful Stewardship

  • Keep the Harmony: You’ll handle the "Staff News" and weekly updates, ensuring everyone is in the loop and feels heard.
  • Maintain the Standard: Through methodical checklists and organized inventory, you ensure the shop is always ready to serve the best possible products to our neighbors.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A People Person: You have a natural gift for building positive, productive relationships with employees, vendors, and guests alike.
  • Experienced Guide: You have 2+ years in retail/food service and at least 1 year of experience leading and supporting a team.
  • Clear Communicator: You can share information and respond to questions with patience, clarity, and warmth.
  • Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "getting it right," from the accuracy of a label to the precision of a custom order drawing.
  • The Essentials: You’re comfortable with standard software (Google Drive/Dropbox), can lift 50 lbs, and are ready to support the team during our busy weekends and holidayCompensation: $16-$20/hour based on experience; 40 hours/week
