Riverside Miller Health Care Center in Kankakee, IL, is seeking a dedicated team member to join our dynamic rehabilitation team as a Part-time Rehab Assistant. 4-5 days per week, 4hrs per day depending on census.

Job Summary: Performs a wide range of tech and administrative support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Transports patients to/from therapy and coordinates with nursing/CNAs. Assists therapists in the gym and with setting up group therapy treatments. Maintains a clean and organized therapy gym. This is an active, on-your-feet role focused on patient movement and direct support.

Qualifications:

• High school education with other applicable training and experience preferred.
• Must possess strong communication and coordination skills.

Clinical Experience:

• Prior experience as a clerical assistant or support tech in a medical related field is preferred.
• Prior experience as a CNA or support tech in a medical related field is preferred. Computer knowledge and experience is required.
