Position Overview:- Provide oral hygiene care to patients including preventive, maintenance, and therapeutic treatments.
- Educate patients about their oral health and motivate them to maintain it.
- This is a part-time position (30 hours/week), working 3 shifts of 10 hours each.
- Travel is required to multiple dental offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct patient care, including cleanings and other dental hygiene services.
- Collect and document oral health data according to clinical policies.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene education and care instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health and safety standards.
- Support office tasks during downtime to promote teamwork and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Schedule & Locations:- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (3/10s).
- Travel to: Aloha, Tigard, Beaverton, Cedar Hills, and Tanasbourne locations.
- This is a float/travel position with set workdays and rotating office locations.
Required Qualifications: Education:- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Associate degree in Applied Science or higher.
Licenses/Certifications:- Valid Oregon Dental Hygienist License.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Requirements:- WA Initial and Renewable Limited Licenses are not accepted.
- Oregon license must include local anesthesia endorsement.
- Experience with x-ray equipment, ultrasonic scalers, and handpieces.
Preferred Qualifications:- Nitrous oxide permit.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control.
- Basic computer skills.
- Restorative function endorsement (Oregon only; included in WA license).
