About the role
We're seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist / Customer Care Assistant to be the welcoming first point of contact for our customers. Your schedule would be as follows:
What you'll do
Provide exceptional first impressions: Immediately greet every customer that comes through our door, exchange names, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
Manage communications: Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally, respond to inquiries via email and Podium, and ensure all messages are properly relayed to the appropriate team members
Support the sales process: Oversee the sales rotation system (Up System), posting just-in-time updates to Slack and maintaining the in-showroom customer log.
Assist with customer intake: Gather essential information from customers about their project type, direct them to the appropriate area, and convey details to relevant sales team members
Provide measure support: Send text notifications via Podium for upcoming measures, verify addresses, and communicate with customers as needed
Process payments: Assist customers with payment processing using RFMS and notify appropriate sales team members once payments have been processed
Maintain reception area: Ensure the reception desk and surrounding area are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies including water, printer paper, pens, and promotional materials
Perform administrative tasks: Complete data entry, scanning, document organization, and other misc. administrative duties as assigned
Assist with customer feedback: Support the customer care team by sending review reminders through Podium and helping collect customer feedback

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
