The Psychiatric RN will provide a combination of direct client care and medication management/admiration services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, clinically skilled and committed to supporting adults on their recovery journey.
Hiring a part-time RN
Responsibilities:
- Clinical/Client management that will consist of 30% direct care and 70% of medication management and administrative.
- Client appointments including taking vitals, giving injections, calling in prescriptions, symptom management and education
- Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
- Develop and execute medical individual treatment plans as needed
- Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
- Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
- Collaboration with medical director residential staff and other psychiatrists
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
- Maintain accurate client documentation
Qualifications:
- RN in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required.
- Compassionate professional, and client centered approach to care.
- Experience working with adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.
- Strong communication, organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License & proof of current auto insurance.
