Primary Care Physician Assistant Location Chesapeake Virginia Practice Chesapeake Internists Limited Position Overview Chesapeake Internists Limited a well-established internal medicine practice in Chesapeake Virginia is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team to provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients aged 18 and older. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for adult patients. Manage common acute and chronic conditions including hypertension diabetes and respiratory illnesses. Perform routine physical examinations and preventive health screenings. Provide patient education on health maintenance disease prevention and lifestyle modifications. Conduct womens health screenings including Pap smears and pelvic exams. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Utilize electronic health records EHR for accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Education Certification as a Physician Assistant Experience Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Licensure Active Virginia license or eligibility to obtain.
