Part-Time Parts & Inventory Assistant

Location: Williamsport, PA.
Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week.

Staiman Recycling Corporation is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Parts & Inventory Assistant to support our maintenance and parts operations at our Williamsport facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time weekday schedule who enjoys staying busy, staying organized, and helping keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive and verify daily parts and supply deliveries.
- Move and organize UPS packages, which may involve heavy lifting.
- Receive, Sort, and put away incoming parts and materials.
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pick up parts, supplies, and other items from local vendors.
- Drive off-site as needed to pick up items, make deliveries, and run company errands.
- Help keep parts and inventory areas clean, organized, and orderly.
- Assist maintenance personnel with locating parts and supplies.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
- Provide general support to the parts department.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Must be comfortable driving off-site during the workday to pick up parts, supplies, and run company errands.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and vendors.
- Ability to safely lift and move parts and supplies as required.
- Previous inventory, parts, warehouse, receiving, automotive parts, maintenance support, or similar experience is helpful, but not required.
- Can operate or be trained to operate a forklift occasionally.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
- $17.00 per hour | Approximately 20 hours per week.
