The University of Washington School of Social Work, Social Development Research Group has an outstanding opportunity for a part time Operations Manager to join their team.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of the Social Development Research Group (SDRG), at the UW School of Social Work (SSW), the Operations Manager is responsible for oversight, strategic direction and management of the Center for Communities That Care (Center) including supervision of the Center team, communications and outreach, public relations, fundraising, grants and contracts, licensing, and event planning. The Center currently distributes two international prevention programs via license through UW/CoMotion, with training and technical assistance by service agreement through the Center/SSW.
The Operations Manager is the main point of contact for new agreements and projects, including development and negotiation of budgets and scopes for all Center endeavors. This position must independently manage multiple competing projects to completion, oversee complex scheduling, lead weekly Center team meetings, and monitor budgets. This position serves as a liaison to external entities and UW departments, including UW CoMotion. Professional, discrete, and prompt communication both in writing and verbally is required. The Center provides services to state-level agencies, communities, and individuals. This position reports to the SDRG Director and serves as a member of the leadership group of SDRG.
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing multiple projects and initiatives, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, supervision, communication, and reporting. Working within a complex, fast-paced environment, the Operations Manager works closely with the SDRG administrator and leadership to further the orgnization's strategic priorities.

The salary information provided below is for a full-time position and will be prorated for this part-time, 50% FTE opportunity.

$99,000.00 annual
