Part-Time Music Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a lifelong appreciation for music. The successful candidate will design and deliver high-quality music instruction, covering music theory, performance, and music appreciation. This role requires a flexible educator capable of managing a part-time classroom schedule while maintaining high educational standards and preparing students for seasonal school performances

Responsibilities:

Teaching: 11 classes per week, grades K - 8

Lesson Planning: Create, implement, and document age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs and class pacing

Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment conducive to creative learning.

Qualification and Preferences:

Education: Coursework in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field is highly preferred.

Experience: Experience teaching children music in a school, studio, or community setting.

Musical Proficiency: Strong command of vocal instruction or at least one primary instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, band instruments).
