Job Summary
The Part-Time Mental Health Specialist role involves the delivery of clinical services to Indiana University, Bloomington students who have been the victims of or are survivors of interpersonal violence (including, sexual assault, sexual abuse, relationship violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, and/or stalking), through the Student Health Centers Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Survivor Counseling Services. The part-time Mental Health Specialists work is expected to be culturally informed and consistent with the learning objectives of the Office of Student Life.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires sedentary work as well as extended durations of moving about the workplace. It requires the ability to move objects and equipment up to 25 pounds, and the ability to discern between various objects and devices and to position patients. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Additional Information
This role is a 10-month appointment, from August to May.

Advertised Salary
$37.18 per hour
Work Hours
Shifts will be scheduled between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on availability and department needs.
Not to exceed 29 hours per week across all IU positions.
