Position Summary
First Capital Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Representative (Teller) to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.
As a Member Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for our members, processing daily financial transactions, assisting with account requests, and identifying products and services that meet their needs.
Your friendly, professional approach will help create a positive member experience while supporting the Credit Union’s mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous service while building positive relationships with members.
- Listen to members, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products and services to support their financial goals.
- Process routine transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Balance and maintain a cash drawer while following established procedures and security guidelines.
- Assist members with account maintenance and requests, including name and address changes.
- Support established sales and service goals by recognizing opportunities to educate members about Credit Union products and services.
- Represent First Capital’s mission and You First Core Values through every member interaction.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a financial institution, retail cash-handling environment, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing positive, personalized service.
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash accurately, follow procedures, and maintain attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about Credit Union products and services and help members find solutions that meet their needs.
