PART-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT ENT Baltimore is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, patient-focused Medical Assistant. The primary purpose of the Medical Assistant is to help the providers with patient care and prepare exam rooms. This position requires duties of a Medical Assistant and Front Desk support. This role will report to the Practice Administrator. The schedule is Mondays 7:45AM-4:30PM @ Lutherville, Tuesdays 7:45AM-4PM @ Reisterstown, and Wednesdays 7:45AM-12PM @ Lutherville. Travel to multiple locations is required; reliable transportation is preferred.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.The Medical Assistant assumes responsibility for maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point-of-care testing.The Medical Assistant will administer intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.The Medical Assistant must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.The Medical Assistant will assist with supporting the front desk as needed, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails. Other duties as assigned.
