Love social media and talking to people? Get paid to do both in your own community.

Sara Labraaten State Farm is looking for a creative, outgoing person to be the face and voice of our agency, online and around Bemidji. You’ll run our social media, help plan local events, and help new people find and connect with our team. If you like coming up with ideas and seeing them through, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Show up locally: Help plan and promote community events, then represent the agency at them.
  • Start conversations: Connect with local people and businesses, follow up, and help set appointments for our licensed team.
  • Build our reputation: Ask happy customers for Google reviews, and make that a regular part of how we work.
  • Help people find us: Keep our Google Business Profile current, and create content that improves our local visibility.
  • Keep it organized: Own the marketing calendar, track what’s working, and turn ideas into finished projects.

  • Like a mix of creative work and people work
  • Follow through without needing reminders

What You’ll Bring

  • Confidence creating content on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Organization and initiative
  • Bonus: experience with Canva, video editing, events or customer outreach

Examples of your work help a lot, whether from a job, school, a volunteer project or your own accounts.

What We Offer

  • Starting pay of $17 - $20/hour depending on experience
  • A flexible part-time schedule
  • Real ownership of projects you can point to on your résumé
  • A path to a full-time sales role, with paid licensing, if you’re interested

How to Apply

Apply with your resume and a short note on why you’d be a great fit. Include links to social content or projects you’ve made; we’d love to see them.
